I created this clip from about a dozen smaller clips and hope to show the steps taken to bring a very nice looking Hammarlund HQ-200 Communications receiver back to life.
The unit was donated by a very generous Ham Friend who wanted to see a complete restoration on an unfortunate receiver that had fallen on bad times and golden screwdrivers.
He had no idea what was in store when he purchased the unit.
The "plan" is to restore and pass along to a new ham in our area.
Should be a great "starter" receiver.
