Video of my amateur radio bicycle mobile station from earlier in the year. Testing the effects of operating over the seawater with a homebrew ground tuning unit (GTU). Tuning the frame of the bike to resonance creating a capacitive/very low impedance ground at the operating frequency. Operating from a paralell wooden jetty at the dockside in Blyth harbour, Northumberland, north east England. Apologies for the poor sound quality due to problems with a new camera at the time.
