Biography

I moved to Florida (The Villages) in October of 2018. The antenna restrictions are worse than the HOA in Maryland. I do have wire antennas running along the privacy fence in the back yard and a new flagpole vertical coming in 2-3 weeks (mid March).

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Radios:
Baofeng UV-5RA and UV-6R 2m/70cm portable
Yaesu FTDX1200 in the home QTH running barefoot at 100w for now.
Yaesu FT-891 in the Subaru Forester mobile using hamsticks
Yaesu FT-817ND for QRP operations with MX-P50M amplifier as needed

Antennas:
SuperAntenna for portable QRP operation
OCF dipole
40m dipole
80m dipole
124 ft longwire with same length counterpoise for receiving antenna

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands. Click here and find out more about the project and how you can endorse it.
