Biography

I moved to Florida (The Villages) in October of 2018. The antenna restrictions are worse than the HOA in Maryland. I do have wire antennas running along the privacy fence in the back yard and a new flagpole vertical coming in 2-3 weeks (mid March).

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Radios:
Baofeng UV-5RA and UV-6R 2m/70cm portable
Yaesu FT-991A with ALs-606 600w solid state amplifier
Yaesu FTDX1200 as backup.
Yaesu FT-891 in the Chevy Equinox mobile using hamsticks
uBitx for QRP operations

Antennas:
SuperAntenna for portable QRP operation
22ft aluminum flagpole with 2 wires sloping off the top - tunes 6-80
EFHW4010 at 10ft high
EFHW8010 at 7ft on concrete wall

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
