Biography

Poway,California, near San Diego, is my winter QTH from December to May. I operate a very modest station there that consists of a Yaesu FT-450D feeding a Tarheel 400A roof-mounted motorized screwdriver vertical and an end fed random wire about 14m in length.

Equipment

Tx/Rx = Yaesu FT-450d 160-6M ALL-MODE 100-WATT TRANSCEIVER.
Antenna (1) = Roof mounted Tarheel 400a motorized screwdriver vertical
(2) = 14m long end fed random wire antenna
I also have two Chinese HTs covering 144. 222, & 440MHz FM feeding a J-Pole antenna
