Biography

On the air I use my middle name of "Bruce". I have been an active Ham for over 65 years. I enjoy many parts of the hobby from DXing, weak signal and collecting grid squares on the VHF/UHF bands. I am involved in public service aspects of the hobby through the ARES & CERT programs. Even though I not big into awards but I do have VUCC, DXCC, WAC, AJD and other certificates.

I am a member of the QCWA, OOTC, ARRL and several local Ham clubs.

Equipment

At this time I have several multi-band Icom transceivers and near legal limit amplifier. I have a 6 element LPDA beam at 40-feet (17m), ground mounted multi-band verticals and wire antennas.
