One of my biggest event in Summer every year is visiting Yoron Island which is a small island and it used be the most southern place in Japan until Okinawa was returned to Japan.

I am visiting regularly their in July and staying the same hotel which is so nice food and hospitality. If you wish to send QSL by post mail, please do not use above address but to my home address of 7K2ABV.

This year (2024) planed 26 - 30 July to stay Yoron. I hope to have a nice wether without tyhoon.

I Visited Ishigaki Is 11 - 13 Jan 2026. I used only IC705 and 1:64 Ballun and 10m Long wire form Hotel room.

Equipment

Equipment used: IC-705 with linier amp HL-45B. Antenna were 6m delta loop and ATU installed 17m Delta loop antenna. The bigger antenna should be down to avoid strong wind from typhoon, finally only 6m delta loop antenna was used. LDG's RT/RC-100 ATU was selected because of reduce wire cable between rig and antenna.
