Biography
Hello!
My name is Lilian Putină, and I am a radio amateur from Moldova. I live in the charming village of Boghiceni, located about 40 km west of Chișinău, the capital of Moldova. Geographically, Moldova is situated in Eastern Europe, nestled between Romania and Ukraine, making it a great spot for radio activities within Europe.
I’ve been an SWL (Shortwave Listener) since 2012, and in 2022, I obtained my first amateur radio license. In 2023, I advanced to a Class B license, allowing me to further explore the world of radio. My current callsign is ER1PL.
My equipment setup includes a Xiegu G1M, an external 100W linear amplifier, a Yaesu FT-891, and a homemade Hexbeam antenna, which covers six bands: 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, 10m, and 6m. Most of my operations are in FT8, though I’ve also enjoyed exploring other digital modes like PSK, RTTY, and Olivia. In addition, I frequently work SSB on voice, enjoying the versatility and challenge of this mode.
I'm always looking to improve my skills and experiment with new modes of communication. Amateur radio has been an exciting journey, and I look forward to making new contacts and sharing this passion with others.
Thank you for visiting my QRZCQ.com page, and I hope to connect with you on the airwaves soon!
73, Lilian ER1PL
