Biography

Hello and Welcome . My secondary call sign is ZL3QRP

I started my radio Hobby off in 1969, when I joined the New Zealand Post Office as a telegraph Operator working with Creed 47 teleprinters. Starting in 1973, I was a Radio Operator at ZLQ (Scott Base, Antarctica) for two summer seasons.

I have continued this fascination with Radio over the years and am now enjoying Digital modes expecially MMSSTV Olivia and PSK.

I can be found most nights (New Zealand Time) on the bands
