| Biography Hi, thank you for looking me up.
I am a retired design engineer, and software developer. I designed VHF/UHF, and network based products and communication systems. I was getting my "wireless fix" from my work back then, so this call has been quiet for a few years.
I have started setting up my shack and workshop again, with a bit more emphasis on HF gear than previously. I have a good Lab setup from my professional days, I have a several "store bought" rigs, but I like to build and modify things. My Linears are home brew, I usually run 20 - 200 watts.
Not allowed aerials in my neighborhood, but I am finding solutions. Getting good results from a flagpole in the front yard at the moment.
