I live out in the country and enjoy an almost zero noise level except for when the sun plays up or a lightning storm is close.
Equipment
I have Two antennas
an extended double zepp at 6 meters cut for 80m
Big antenna is a 400m doublet with open wire feed flying 16m above ground
For VHF I have a kenwood in the car and a IC211 in the shack
Present rig is an IC-7300 and home built Fet linear capable of 1000 watts 160m to 6m
