| Biography My current HF set up:
Last storm broke the wire antenna on the roof of my solitaire where I live. I plan to install at least one vertical antenna for 20, 15 and 10 meter bands in the coming period.
For now, I'm using my vintage device like: Yaesu, FT-707, Kenwood TS-440S and Kenwood. I like working with CW the most.
Since I live in a solitaire, the position for installing the antenna is at the level of the 15th floor, i.e. at a height of about 50 meters from the ground. The position is excellent and all the antennas I used before on the HF bands worked UFB! Even on ordinary wire antennas and power of only 100 W I have made very rare lands (doing all these QSO PILE-UP was big !!).
Sometimes when I'm out in nature, I'm very happy to bring my good HT Baofeng of 5 W, on VHF/UHF bands.
