Biography

I'm born in 1951 and at age 20 to 55 years I worked as a specialist in military communications. After retirement I work in "Clubul Sportiv Petrolul" Ploiesti. In this club I prepare children and young people to become hams.
I started as a hamradio when I was 21 years old as SWL! Starting with 1975 I get my first licence as YO9BPX. Now I'm active in HF, most frequently in cw, but also in SSB and digitals.
I am working also in VHF and UHF mainly in national and international competitions, but also at during the propagation openings.
