Biography

Amateur radio station operator from Latvia, EU. Born in 1987. "CEPT Novice" and category B amateur radio licence since 2006, HAREC certificate and category A radio station licence since 2020.
Working mostly with FT8 digi mode.

HF transceivers - Yaesu FT-890, Kenwood TS-140S, Conrad C Mobil (CB band).
HF antenna - 15m long Fuchs antenna hanging on the tree, 12 meters high, in urban area. Frequency coverage 3 to 28 MHz.

For local repeater comms on 145 / 430 MHz bands:
Base station - Retevis RT-95;
BS antenna - selfmade 1/4 wave ground plane antenna (145 MHz);
Mobile handheld radios - Icom IC-2E, Baofeng UV-5R.
