Biography

INDONESIA:

Mari berkomunikasi bersama saya.!!

ENGLISH:

My name is Iskandar, callsign YD6ASL, an active amateur radio operator based in Sabang City, Aceh Province — a region known as the westernmost point of Indonesia.

My location on the edge of the Indian Ocean presents both unique challenges and exciting opportunities in the world of radio communications, particularly when reaching stations across different parts of the globe.

For me, amateur radio is not merely a hobby, but a meaningful platform for continuous learning, technical development, sharing experiences, and building international friendships without geographical boundaries.

I began my journey in amateur radio in 2025, and since then I have remained committed to improving my skills and expanding my communication network through various on-air activities.

I look forward to making contact with you on the air.

73 and best regards,
Iskandar – YD6ASL
