Biography

I am Al "Motorman" McDonald, WV1Q a retired Maryland State Law Enforcement Officer, Marine Combat Veteran and Reserve Seabee Veteran. I am involved in Emergency Communication as a member of Skywarn, SATERN, TALARC (The American Legion Amateur Radio Club)Post#1992 and Jasper County ARES Group now Known as Jasper County Amateur Radio Services Club (KF5KDC). I am an ARRL VE and W5YI Examiner.

My Hobbies are Amateur Radio (QRP & Emergency Radio Ops), Martial Arts (Bujinkan Ninjutsu & Shotokan), Competition Shooting( Long Gun and Pistol), Motorcycles(Old &New) and Playing Drums. I currently live in the East Central Mississippi District were I moved to after my medical retirement from Columbia, Maryland. Thanks for looking me up, hope to see you down the bands!
