Biography

Jim Davis WV0Q

I finally got my Ham Ticket in 2011!!! I was one of those CB kids in the seventies and always wanted to become a Ham.
I am currently working very hard at learning CW! I just wish my brain would cooperate!

Fort Collins is my QTH and is located sixty miles north of Denver Colorado. Fort Collins is known for WWV and lot's of micro-breweries!

I actively work SSB, FT8, PSK-31, RTTY, JT9 & JT65 on all bands. Top Band is really tough with my compromised antenna but I try.

I live in a HOA neighborhood that has outlawed all "visable" antennas. I choose not to accept the rule.

Clubs:

OMISS: 8156
FISTS: 17239
Feld Hell: 4602
30 Meter Digital Group: 6666

Please QSL: LOTW, eQSL, Direct or all three!

I work as a Spacecraft Integration Technician for Ball Aerospace in Boulder Colorado.
This is the NPP weather spacecraft that we built and launched in 2011

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
