Biography

First licensed as a Novice in North Dakota, USA in 1959 as KN0ZLJ, upgraded a year later to K0ZLJ. QRT for 29 years. Relicensed in 1991 as a Novice, KA1YSJ, upgraded to General, N1JHV, then to Extra as WU1V.

Active CW op on 15, 17, 20, 30 and 40 meters. Especially enjoy QRP operation using a straight key.

Member of ARRL, NAQCC, QRP ARCI, SKCC, FISTS, OOTC, Flying Pigs, and others.

Also a member of QRZ.COM (see website)

Prefer QSL via Logbook of The World (LoTW), but will exchange QSL Direct with SASE (US) or SAE/$1US (DX). Bureau and eQSLcc okay.
