Biography

I have been licensed since 1991, when I was a Technician Plus, and have worked my way up over the years to where I am now as an Extra Class. I'm fairly active, being involved in DXing, award chasing and contesting.

My hobbies, in addition to Amateur Radio, include weather and photography.

My current memberships include the following:

The Penn-Ohio DX Society 070 Club (PODXS 070 #1404), the European PSK Club (EPC #15817), the Digital Modes Club (#4652), QRP Amateur Radio Club International (QRP ARCI #14661), the 30 Meter Digital Group (30MDG #5074), the British Amateur Radio Teledata Group (BARTG #8965), the Feld Hell Club (FH #4424), the World SSTV Club (WSC #0205) and a charter member of the Texas Radio Zone.

Currently I use a Yaesu FT-857D with mostly 25 watts to a dipole at 15 ft. Operating modes include SSB/AM/FM/Digital; I now use PSK, Olivia, Feld Hell, RTTY, JT9/JT65 regularly but can also use other modes such as Contesti and Domino.

Please QSL direct with SASE, by the bureau, by eQSL.cc (AG), QRZ.com or by LoTW!

Hope to catch you on the air soon; 73 to all!
