Biography

I have been a ham since about 1994. My elmer was my twin brother wm9x.

My radio station consists of a Yaesu FT-950, an Ameritron 811 amplifier (600 watts), an MFJ 989-D tuner, and a Gap DX-VIII Challenger vertical antenna, and an MFJ-564 keyer. I equally enjoy CW and SSB. Contests are one of my favorite operating activities but I thoroughly enjoy a good rag chew with a new contact.

Other hobbies include fishing, high-mountain backpacking, golf, and gardening.

I work as a project manager on large construction projects that have carried me from Brazil, Philippines, Honduras, Canada, and throughout the US. A great job!
