Biography

I am a professional musician by trade. Got my ham license in approx 1976. I hold an extra-class ticket.
I work mostly FT8
Life-long Californian. No matter how bad things get here, I don't see myself leaving the state.
Married to wonderful gal since 1972. At one time, she had her tech-license, but she let it lapse.
Was very active on-air in the late seventies and early eighties, but got very busy with my carreer and went inactive for a few decades. I'm back active now on VHF, UHF, and HF. I plan on opperating FT8 on HF.
Member of Claremont Repeater Association (CLARA) and soon to become member of IDEC (Irvine Disaster Emergency Communications).

RADIOS: Yaesu FT991/A (base station), Yaesu FTM-500 DR (Mobile), and (2) Yaesu FT60 HTs.
HF ANTENNA: Ultimax 100 Longwire for 30m-6m
VHF/UHF ANTENNA: Jetstream JTM3B dual-band J-pole
