Biography

I've been active since the late 70's from several locations in Georgia. Most of the time operating from Lithia Springs / EM73.

My wife and I moved to Cumming /EM74 in 2009, and lost the use of my tower and beams because of the new subdivision.

Now its stealth antennas and low power. The main antenna is a Carolina OCF Windom running north/south into a MFJ Versa Tuner, and a 30 /17 dipole at 30 ft running east/ west. These days FT8 is my preferred mode of operation.

Occasionally, you find me operating portable from Cocke County, TN (EM85), on our farm. Or, enjoying my other hobby, tracking my MINI Cooper on circuits in the southeastern US.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Yaesu FT-107m, FV-107, SignalLink USB Sound Card, Dell I5, dipoles and a Carolina Windom.
