Hello! I have been a Two Way Radio Tech since 1973, same year I got my Amateur Radio License...I am semi-retired now from being the "radioman" from a local government job and now I am working a couple days a week at the two way radio shop I started at.. It is GREAT because the guy I work with (Scott AC8IL) is into all the same things I am into.... Radios and Cars...
We have a complete HF station set up at the shop on one side and I have a HF digital station on my side of the shop.... I think we spend more time playing that working....
I home I have an Icom 756Pro set up to operate all modes, plus VHF and UHF as well.. I also run all bands in the Jeep and VHF/UHF on the motorcycle.... Just can't get away from them! haha..

Before I retired I help design and install the largest DSRC system in the States... (at the time) DSRC is a dedicated 5.9 Ghz system for Cars talking to the Roads.... That was a FUN project....

Depending on where I am.. at work we run an Elecraft K-3 in shack and I run a Kenwood TS-850 on my service bench.... At home I run an Icom 756 Pro, In the Jeep a Yeasu FT 857D and on the Goldwing a TYT9800.... . Plus all kinds of other various "stuff"
