Biography

Born 1960. Been ham since 1975, General since 1979, Extra since 1995. I live in Virginia, but I got my call in Minnesota. I am primarily a CW operator, though I do use SSB at times. I also do digital modes, but not FT4 or FT8.

I am primarily active in some contests and Parks-On-The-Air (POTA) as both hunter and activator.

Antenna: Two Hamsticks fed as a dipole up about 6 ft above my deck, which is 15 ft above surrounding terrain.

Option 1: Two Hamsticks fed as a dipole up above 8 ft above ground.
