Biography

Hello and thank you for stopping by!

The name here is Dennis, and I've been a shortwave radio listener since late 2000 when I bought my first shortwave radio from Radio Shack, the Optimus multiband radio. Ever since then I have owned many radios including various Radio Shack DX radios, the Icom IC-R75, two different Hallicrfters radios, the Hammarlund HQ 100A, and so on and so forth.

My favorite domestic shortwave station is WBCQ, and my favorite international station is NHK.

I am also a YouTuber. You can check out my channel here.... https://www.youtube.com/user/Ultraseven85

I'm currently using two different antennas. The first one is a homemade fan dipole, and the second antenna is an Alpha Delta DX-SWL sloping antenna. The fan dipole is approximately 15 to 20 feet off the ground, and the DX-SWL is about 15 feet off of the ground.
