Biography

My friends call me Bill. I am 66 years old and have been on the air since I was 15. Now retired, I reside in Gainesville, Florida. WA4KBD is configured primarily for digital modes running power outputs ranging from 20 to 43 dBm. My current HF station is a K3/100 feeding a ZS6BKW dipole. I often operate QRP portable with a K2. Most of my QSLing is done via eQSL and I am also happy to exchange paper QSLs. I currently do not participate in LoTW, though that may change in the future.
