Biography

As a ham, I've been KN7YEM, K7YEM, N6VRK, KK6EB, AA6UL, N7RI and now, after living in VA for 20+ years with a region 7 call, I'm N4RLI. Recently (10/25/2017) got an SWL call from SWARL: WA4320SWL. I use this SWL call when reporting spots of WSPR beacons, when my own N4RLI beacon is also transmitting. I'm exploring the usefulness of digital SWL as a way of getting STEM students in high school involved in wireless digital communication.

Equipment

RTL-SDR with random wire in living room. Using Virtual Audio Cable to pipe into WSJT-X.
Currently monitoring WSPR beacons and uploading reports to WSPRnet.org.
