Biography

Greetings: My Novice call KA0FNB/issued 1979 and maintained till 1999.
I was granted W9FNB at that time. Carthage,In.is a small farming community in East Central Indiana of about 900,located about 35 miles East of Indianapolis.
I spent a few years in broadcast industry late 1970's-mid 1980's. I earned my IBEW Journeyman Electrician License in 1984. I have now retired after 37+ years of service. I spent the last 26 years of service working for a major Sports and Convention Center Complex in Indianapolis. Home of the Indianapolis NFL COLTS. I was able to be part of many major sporting events, 2012 NFL SUPER BOWL, NCAA Basketball Final Four's, World Basketball Championships and so many others. I was truly blessed. I am a casual DX'er and enjoy restoring the old tube type Hamfest goodies I find, when time permits.
The last 5 years have acquired a real zest for 6m and the chase for the Grids. I am strictly a conventional mode operator using only SSB/CW to make contacts. 73 Enjoy de Gary/W9FNB
