Biography

I have been a licensed Amateur Radio Operator since 2016.
I really like the QRZCQ site. I appreciate how it accepts SWL listener Call Signs and allows them to be a part of the community here. I enjoy the passion SWL listeners have for the hobby, as I am a Shortwave listener, too.

Equipment

My equipment is a Yaesu FT-891. I use an EFHW antenna for 40-10 meters. I also have a 20-meter Hamstick that I use for hunting POTA stations from my backyard.

I also have various analog handheld transceivers and an AnyTone 25 Watt mobile for analog 2-meter/70cm.

On the digital side, I have a Yaesu FT-70D digital handheld paired with an MMDVM Pi-Star Hot Spot.
