Hi, thank you for stopping by. My name is Shannon, and I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I recently got my 'ticket' this year of 2022--having gone from Zero to Extra all on the same day. My ham radio journey has just begun, and I am in complete awe of how much there is to learn. For the most part, my interest in amateur radio came about more recently. Out on the trail, it had come to mind that a small handheld could serve as a dependable hiking partner for those spur-of-the-moment adventures. So thus, it became so.
