Old timer back on the air. Interested in joining nets and getting up to speed on Phone (and CW). Rusty, I am! My Shack evolves over time and utilizes Vintage SSB (and some CW) rigs. I like DX’ing but would like especially making friends both locally and on air, thus the interest in Net participation, and maybe Field Day. I created the “young voices Net on 6 Meters back in the ‘60’s. Was not an “official’ Net but served a purpose to unite younger Hams, W8ARZ, W8BUT, W8HZV, W8CTZ and k8 I I I were the ‘Big Guns’ on 6 meter Phone (AM) at that time All but one have become SK since the ‘60’s. Can’t shake this hobby and don’t want to. Maybe I will hold an Open House this Summer, in person and on line somehow.

Hallicrafters SR's & PS's, WRL Duo-Banders, Yaesu FT-101-E, RME 4350A and SSB Adapter, Murch UT2000-A, Vibroplex, Siltronix Pm-15's, Astatic D104's, Hy-Gain Vertical and G5RV long wire. (Vertical not deployed at this time) Farthest recent contacts in Great Britain and Italy, West Coast and Canadian Provinces , all on a random long wire ~10 ft above ground. RK
