| Biography Was first Novice Class licensed in high school in 1952 as WN5DMH (QTH Tyler, TX) and earned WAS running 50 watts CW with a WRL Globe Scout transmitter and a Hallicrafters S-38C receiver. Then Conditional Class licensed as W5DMH in 1954 until 1973 when I became Advanced Class licensed as W6RMG (QTH San Francisco, CA). In 1978 I became W8LOV (QTH Columbus, OH) and ran a Yaesu FT-101B and a home built Heathkit SB-220 linear into a 2 element 3 band cubical quad antenna at 90 feet. Worked DX and collected about 120 DXCC confirmed countries. In 1984 moved back to San Francisco to raise two children with my wife Judy and continue my career as an investment banker. Retired in 2000 and moved to San Diego and became Extra Class licensed as W6OJ. Equipment Icom IC-7300 Transceiver - Palstar AT1500C Tuner - Kenwood TM-G707 FM Transceiver ... Getting back into amateur radio after a 35 year absence due to career and family priorities.
