Current operations:
The W6NS station is a portable operation, my home is a motorhome and it moves about the lower 48 states of the USA. I no longer have a nice aluminum and copper garden and the kW days are limited.
Station consist of an Elecraft K3S/100, ACOM1000, second radio/backup Elecraft K3/100 and Elecraft KX3, ASUS laptop I have xvtr's for 1.25m, 33cm and 23cm; antennas will vary from F12 C3E, F12 EF706(the original beta version),F12 N1217, 6BTV vertical, Buddie Pole (easy to carry) with wires for the lower bands to Hi-Q mobile, M2 loops on 6 & 2m or M2 3el 6m, and various wire configuration as support structures present themselves. Amplifiers will only be used if my antenna system hears well enough ( I can hear you but you don't hear me) and I have enough shore power ( or I am willing to listen to the generator - not high on my list ).

Coming improvements solar farm on the roof ( built in shade tree ), not realized at this point. I Have the new "toad"(towed), or why no solar panels (pick-up truck with ladder/lumber racks to carry the beams and support structure, bicycle and kayaks ).

First licensed April 1998 as Tech+, passed 13wpm code test and extra written August 1998 issued KQ6XL advanced class, did not pass 20wpm within the year so took another extra written and finally passed 20wpm early 2000, applied for my current call which was issued. March 2000.

I have been active on 6m, contesting on VHF/UHF bands and as a little fish on HF, operated from 6Y a couple of times (see QRZ.com for QSL details). I have done some RTTY, PSK31, FT8 and CW; I did the CWOps CWA lvl II and with many hours on Wednesdays my CW speed is 25+ WPM (a big change here very little CW most Qs are SSB) (or as my DX /contest buddies say Scientific Set Back; just think of something for JT65). I took about a ten year break from operating real radio, did some public service stuff and socializing. Got the bug (not the key, already have one) last summer and a new motorhome so my radio life moves on as does the house on wheels.

Now on 6m and HF modes used CW, FT8 RTTY (not sure where the microphone got off to)(SSB, JT65, RTTY, CW & PSK31 old order of use), antennas in use now the C3 at about 10m, 6BTV and 40m dipole.
