Biography
I have been licensed since 1971 (when I was in High School). I went from Novice to General, then to Advanced, and lastly to Extra.
I am a RF engineer who later in life because an attorney (in California and New Mexico).
I earned a JD in 2001, then a LL.M degree in IT/Telecom Law in 2013. In 2016 I was hooded as a Doctor of Law and Policy at Northeastern University in Boston.
I am a Life Member of the ARRL. I am also an ARRL Volunteer Counsel and Volunteer Examiner. I am a fellow member of the SCTE (UK/EU) and a Emeritus senior member of the SCTE (US), as well as a senior member of the SBE.
In addition to my Ham license, I am also licensed by the FCC as a GROL, DMGSS Maintainer and Operator, and I have the Ship Radar endorsement on my GROL.
