Biography

Being fat, lazy and cheap I no longer send paper QSL even with SASE!

My motto is kill an electron to save a tree. HI HI

In September of 2012 I added a vertically oriented dipole hung from a 48 foot high tree limb. The modeling software indicates this type antenna has excellent low angle properties compare to my horizontally oriented dipole. Initial indicators point to this model as being right on. The model also indicates a truly omnidirectional pattern without the need for a ground screen.
