Biography

Let’s start with a little story: I started in this hobby more than 50 years ago, and it’s my passion.

I enjoy working with HF, 2m, 70cm, CW, computer links, radios, repeaters, climbing towers, and my favorite, Amateur Television. Now, I'm working with satellites and digital modes. Also, I like to work Mobile & Portable.

I was the trustee and founder of the MCC Amateur Radio Club K4MCC in Tampa, Florida (Moffitt Cancer Center ARC) from 2007 utill 2009. But due that I moved to VA., the New trustee is (Was) my friend KE4TP Paul Gerardi. **Update**, Unfortunately, the Call sign was lost as a club.

Now I'm back in FL. and relocated in Jacksonville, this time for good.

My better half also has her call sign as(K4FIU, Silvia). I encouraged her in the hobby, and guess what? She loves it, “Lucky me.” If I want a new Radio, I just have to give her a good breakfast, a lot of Love (pay the bills), and everything is fine. I feel very fortunate :-) She is looking forward to getting her ticket to General & I'm (Still) looking forward to getting my Extra.
