| Biography First licensed as a Technician with the sequential call KO4VVN in January 2022, I acquired my current callsign out of respect for Gerald Warr (SK), the original holder of W4UTZ. I was inactive until the Summer of 2024 when I built a QRP Labs QDX-M kit for the 10m band and started making contacts with FT8/FT4. In Spring 2025, I upgraded to Extra and took on the challenge of restoring a neglected Kenwood TS-830S hybrid transceiver.
