Biography

I was first licensed in 1956 as KN2SML, I have held a couple of other call signs over the years, WB2UJW, WB1AIO, and AG4XK. I was HL9KD when I was stationed in Korea in 1965. I am a member of the Fort Myers Amateur Radio Club, The Florida Contest Group, and am the Emergency Coordinator for the ARRL Southern Florida Section.
I teach technician and general license classes several times a year.
My other major passion is SCUBA diving. I have been a diver for about 20 years and am currently a NAUI SCUBA Instructor.

Equipment

My current station consists of an Icom IC-7800, an Alpha 87A amplifier, and a Mosley CL-33 up about 55 feet on a U.S. Tower TX-455 tower. I also use a ZS6BKW dipole for 80, 40, and the WARC bands.
