Biography

Primarily interested in Radiosport/Contesting.

Originally licensed in 1976 with the "General" class license, I drifted out of the hobby in the early 1980's. In 1999, interest was renewed, and I started from scratch to work up to the Extra class license in early 2001.

160m: Inverted-L using K2AV folded counterpoise system
80m: Folded dipole in Inverted Vee configuration
40m: Two inverted vee dipoles at 90 degree angles, one at 40 feet favoring NE-SW, the other at 55 feet NW-SE
20m: Two dipoles, one at 55' facing E/W, the second at 30 feet facing N/S
15m: rectangular loop
10m: rectangular loop

RX Antennas:
2 remotely switched switched K9AY loops
