| Biography Thanks for taking the time to look me up. I have been radioin' since I was 9 years old, I spent six years in the US Navy as an electronics tech working on satnav, satcomm, and UHF/VHF and HF equipment, as well as running the MARS station onboard the USS Mississippi CGN-40. I love chasing DX as well as some good rag chew. You can find me almost every night at 3.895 from 8 pm est til. Station equipment consists of Flex 6500 with a GOLD Heil PR-40 microphone and a Acom 2000A, Kenwood TS-890, 2 x Kenwood TS-830, Kenwood TS-870, Motorola R-390A receiver, Kenwood TS-2000 for VHF/UHF, DVMEGA cast for DMR-Dstar-Fusion, Yaesu FT-3D, Yaesu FT-5d, 2 x Yaesu FT-60R, Davis Vantage VUE weather station. The antenna is a MyAntenna EFHW-7510-2k-plus fed with LMR-240 and is at 60 feet horizontal. I utilize Spectra Plus RT when playing with audio, also have a Anritsu MS2670A spectrum analyzer to watch my signal. I also enjoy listening to my scanners to hear what is going on around me. As a side note, I developed and maintain a website for our ragchew group, check it out at www.3895khz.com! Worked DXCCs: Equipment Flex-6500, Acom 2000A, Kenwood TS-870sat (60 mil), Kenwood TS-830 x 2, Kenwood TS-890, Kenwood TS-2000, Davis Vantage VUE weather station, Wavenode WN-2d meter, R-390A, mulitple handhelds, Icom airband, MyAntenna endfed at 60 feet horizontal fed with LMR-240. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
