On 7-9/2019 My call changed to WR5A from W2FMQ
HF and DX are my passion. I have been a HAM for over 40 years. I enjoy making the hard contact and getting conformation so please confirm our QSO on LoTW or QRZ. Yes I also chase paper. If you send me a QSL card I will send one back.100% QSL. I work CW, SSB, FT8, JS8Call, and RTTY. I believe in QRO operation.
If you hear me on the air don't be shy - give a call - I am always happy to QSO or 59, If it's not my Frequency we can move off 5-10 up or down.
I just started collecting US counties so please give me a call if you hear me.

QSL info : All QSO's are logged on QRZ.com and LoTW at time of contact.I also use eQSL. Paper QSL's are fine but they do not get me credit for your contact on QRZ or LoTW. - So PLEASE QSL with QRZ.com or LoTW.
Both are free services.

At the end of June 2017 I traded my Icom 7700 for a Flex-6500 and do not regret it. The Flex-6500 is hands down the better receiver in all categories. There is an adjustment period and a learning curve, But if you are thinking about making the switch I recommend it.

I use the Rat Pak remote antenna switch ( mounted on tower ) by ARRAY Solutions to switch between HF antenna's.
