Biography

I got my Technician class license in August 1996. My call sign was N3XVP. I requested a vanity call of W3OOM as it was my grandfather's call when he resided in PA. I then took my code test and attained a Tech+ class. I earned a VUCC award in 1997. At present I'm trying to learn to use digital modes, but with license class restrictions to 10 meters and above for those modes, I feel I need to study for my General class license.
