Biography

Former calls and licenses - Novice 1959 - WV2IUD, General 1960 - WA2IUD, Extra 1961 - W9DUH.

Commercial 2nd and 1st Radiotelephone, 1962, AB2LQ, vanity call W2JLK since Feb. 2001.

Radioman USN Reserve. Bell Labs Distinguished Engineer (30yrs - now retired). Mainly enjoy CW DXing but have tried about everything ham radio has to offer. Current station configuration is Kenwood TS-990s / Upgraded Heathkit SB-220 2Kw amp / MFJ 3KW Differential antenna tuner feeding (for now), a rotatable 40-10m wire dipole array and 20-.7m Yagis. QTH located on the coast of New Jersey looking across the Atlantic at Ground Zero in Manhatten, NYC. (QSL card shows my homebrew QRP rig - 1w CW - DXCC!)
