Biography

I was born in Buffalo October 1943. I attended local public grammer and high schools.I graduated from Burgard Vocational high school in June of 1961.

I retired from the Steamfitters L.U.395 in Buffalo NY on November of 1998 after 33+ years service as a constrution building trades Steamfitter Journeyman.

With the help from friend and elmer Richard H Haungs W2UJR,I was licensed in april of 1997.

I'am a member of AARL, Kentucky Colonels, KY amateur radio club, The American Legion Radio Club. I'am active on 2,6,and 10 meters, and Echo Link. I am a member of WDN/M, SKYWARN, and RACES Nets.

I enlisted in the Army in 1961 to 1964 and enlisted again from 1974 to 1977

I have six years active military service with the U.S. Army, the last three with the 5th Special Forces Group ( Airborne ) at Fort Bragg NC, where i was the NCOIC of the HALO section.

My oversea's duty stations include Korea, Iran, and Spain. My state side duty stations include Ft.Knox,Ky Ft Belvoir,Va Ft.Leonardwood,Mo FT.Campbell,Ky Ft. Jackson,Sc Ft. Lee,Va Ft Benning,Ga and Ft Bragg,NC

I'am a member of the following military organizations: VFW Post 5706, American Legion Post 62, Amvets Post 110, 82nd Airborne Association Niagara Frontier Chapter, Special Forces Association Chapter 38, Quartermasters Association Red Hat Chapter. Military Order Of Cootie's Pup Tent 9.

I'm now living in Franklin, Kentucky. I belong to the F.O.E. Chapter 3423, the Moose Lodge 356,the Moose Legion 56
