Biography

A ham since high school, (Sigourney, Iowa) first licensed 1961 with this call.

Upgrade to Amateur Extra in February 2014...long over due.

Retired broadcaster of 44 years....taught six years at the university of Wyoming.

I am enjoying PSK-31 and JTDX. December 31st, 2016....I finally upgraded gear...now a proud owner

of a Yaesu FT-991 and sold off my old tube transceivers (boat anchors for sure).

With three young grandsons close by...life couldn't be better. 73
