Biography

Hello and Thanks for visiting my page. My Name is Craig and my call is VO1VXC / VO1SSB.I've been involved in Amateur Radio since the early 90's however radio has been in my blood since the early 70's when i operated on 11 Meters with a 23 Channel Sanyo TA-1000 and a Shake-spear Big Stick. Those days, 11 Meters was rocking with propagation and making contacts was like picking up the phone. Later in life i spent more time on 11 meters with some of the more common equipment of that time and the first tower became a statue at my QTH. Life events changed and after about a 20 year break from radio, i find myself back into this fun hobby with New more exciting equipment. My employment in the Telecommunications Industry has been instrumental in helping the Amateur Radio community and continues to be a force enabling strategic locations for amateur radio gear. Exciting times in radio are ahead with the end of Cycle 25 approaching and i anticipate much activity for the next few years. Hope to catch you on the Bands! 73 de VO1VXC / SSB.
