Biography

I gained my first amateur radio call (VK6FDGB) in 2014 followed by VK6LCK shortly after. VK6WE came in late 2015. My main activity is on local HF nets and some DX which is a bit of a challenge since I live on a small lot and local council laws restrict antenna choices. I can get around noisy surroundings and poor propagation with digital modes but prefer phone operation. I also enjoy portable qrp operation when travelling on offroad trips. My QTH is in Cottesloe, a coastal suburb of Perth, about 600 metres from the beach and about 300 metres north of the 32 degrees south latitude marker at the beach.

I use online QSL through LOTW, eQSL and QRZ.
