| Biography I gained my first amateur radio call (VK6FDGB) in 2014 followed by VK6LCK shortly after. VK6WE came in late 2015. My main interest is in HF DX which is a bit of a challenge since I live on a small lot and local council laws restrict antenna choices. I get around noisy surroundings and poor propagation with digital modes but prefer phone operation. I also enjoy portable qrp operation when travelling. My QTH is in Cottesloe, a coastal suburb of Perth, about 600 metres from the beach and about 300 metres north of the 32 degrees south latitude marker at the beach.
