Biography

Good Day. I am originally from South Wales in the UK and came to Australia in 2011 via South Africa.
I lived in South Africa for 44 years.
I became a radio ham in 1999 and had the callsign ZR6VWB. I passed the 12 wpm to upgrade to a ZS with the help of my good friend John,(ZS6JBJ), I then became ZS6TDF. I am teaching myself cw again so listen out for me on the bands.
I enjoy all the digital modes and also using the amateur satellites.

Equipment

At moment I will be operating from my caravan as I have recently retired from work due to health reasons and not having a fixed home.
I will be using an Ic7300 from the van using a multiband inverted v antenna. I have an Ic7000 in the car using a Codan 9350 auto tune antenna. Operating mostly on digital but also some ssb if possible.
