Biography

Good Day. I am originally from South Wales in the UK and came to Australia in 2011 via South Africa.
I lived in South Africa for 44 years.
I became a radio ham in 1999 and had the callsign ZR6VWB. I passed the 12 wpm to upgrade to a ZS with the help of my good friend John,(ZS6JBJ), I then became ZS6TDF. I am teaching myself cw again so listen out for me on the bands.
I enjoy all the digital modes and also using the amateur satellites.
God Bless to everyone who looks me up and remember this!

Equipment

At the moment I am using a Kenwood TS2000 & an Icom 7300 for all HF work from the shack. I have an IC7000 for mobile HF. My antennas are inverted V on 40m and a TH7DXX for 10 / 15 / 20m I also have my satellite station. I have a 6 element skeleton slot antenna and an 11 element yagi up on an G5500 Azimuth rotator for the satellites.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
