Biography

First licenced in 1979. I joined the RAAF and completed my study as a Radio Technician (Air)and became a combined novice limited amateur.
Moving around and young let the licence lapse.
Recently decided to become involved again so reapplied for the licence, the system had changed so my qualifications gave me the Advanced certificate. Up with a couple of trap dipoles and resurrected the TS-450S from the trunk after 40 years and it failed (use it or lose it) so with a little persuasion, purchased the Icom IC-7100 and moved the 450 to the 'work in progress' pile. You wont see any photos of my shack for a while, it looks like a bomb hit it.
Noticed the change in 40 years, more data, less voice so when in Rome........

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Bootcamp W10.
Icom IC-7100
MFJ-949E Tuner
Couple of dipoles and a 2/70cm Vertical up 7metres
