Hi there from Wellington South Australia Where is Wellington? Wellington is down the South East 35kms. out of Murray Bridge or 128kms South East of Adelaide. It is made up of dairy farms and a very popular spot for people to visit and to go skiing. We are situated across the road from the River Murray so have not far to go for a swim if needed. We rely on the rainfall here for drinking water as the river is not fit to drink from.
My Radio equipment is FT 767 which has and also 6mts 2 and 70 and HF this is hooked up to ZS6BKW Which is a newer version of the G5RV and if I can I will put a photo on here of it. I purchased the antenna from Mapleleaf in Canada and am pleased with it.I have it running North and South I know purchased a Icom 718 which I have bought for the car but am using it inside at the moment giving the 767 a rest and using it for 2 meters.
You will find me mainly working on 40 meters somewhere. I am also net controller for the 10AM smoko net which can be heard on 7.105 10:30 EST 7 days a week 356 days a year.
I am a foundation Member and have four letters in my call sign This is equvalent to a novice operator .
